GFeMM registers two patents
The research group GFeMM (Group of Ferroelectrics and Multifunctional Materials) from INFIS, leaded by Prof. Dr. José de los Santos Guerra (Pepe), registered two patents in collaboration with his students.
Patent 1: SYNTHESIS OF TERNARIES HETEROSTRUCTURES FOR PHOTO-CELLS AND USE
In collaboration with: Dr. Wayler Silva dos Santos (Post-doctoral) and Éder José do Carmo (Master student).
Patent 2: LOW-COST EQUIPMENT FOR THIN FILMS DEPOSITION
In collaboration with: Dr. Atair Carvalho da Silva (Post-doctoral) and Prof. Dr. Elton Carvalho de Lima (UFT).

Student of GFeMM wins prize in a Physics Workshop
Congratulations to Dr. Wayler Silva dos Santos from GFeMM research group and the Post-Graduation program in Physics, UFU, for the prize to the best works (1st place) presented in the XII SEFIS (Physics Worshop).
The title of the work and the authors list are:
BO/BVO/ITO photoelectrode for fuel hydrogen generation. Wayler S. dos Santos, Éder J. Carmo, Lucas L. Nascimento, Antonio Otávio T. Patrocínio, and José de los Santos Guerra

Students of GFeMM win prize in a Physics Workshop for the second consecutive year
Congratulations to the students Abrahan Pablo Aslla Quispe and Yosdan Martínez Camejo, PhD and ex-Master student, respectively, from GFeMM research group and the Post-Graduation program in Physics, UFU, for the prize to the best works (1st place) presented in the X SEFIS (Physics Worshop).
The titles of the works and the authors list are:
Eletronics properties of BaTiO3 system with cationic defects. Abrahan Pablo Aslla Quispe, Roberto Hiroki Miwa and José de los Santos Guerra
Study of the structural and microstructural properties of perovskite-like structure multiferroic systems. Yosdan Martínes Camejo and José de los Santos Guerra.

Student of GFeMM wins prize in a Medical Physics Congress
Congratulations to the student Leonardo Levy Santos, from GFeMM research group and undergraduate in the Medical Physics course for the prize to the best work (1st place) presented in the XII CONFIAM (Congress of Applied Physics to Medicine) meeting.
The title of the work and the authors list are:
Synthesis of glass-ceramics for biomedical applications. Leonardo Levy dos Santos, Renato Cruvinel de Oliveira and José de los Santos Guerra
The award was held at the XII Congress of Applied Physics to Medicine (CONFAM), which took place at the São Paulo State University “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (Unesp of Botucatu, SP – Brazil).
